Just wanted to post somethings the kids have done and said so I won't forget,
Joel
After telling Joel NO, he asks me.
"Mom why do you always have to say no, is it because your parents always told you no."
Hmmmm interesting theory, what do you think Mom and Dad???. In the mean time Joel, you can go ahead and blame Grandma and Grandpa for that :)
Driving home from school Joel tells me
"When Sydney and Bailee were babies, I think Satan sprinkled bad stuff on them and that is why they are so notty."
Another interesting thought, however unlikely. But this boy is a thinker.
Bailee
We were eating pizza one night and Grandma came to get a bread stick and made a comment on how they were all gone. So Bailee (who loves bread sticks) immediately rips hers in half and gives it to Grandma. It was very sweet, I wonder where she gets it from???????
Sydney
I am trying to teach the kids about the Ten Commandments and last night it was Sydneys turn to pick a commandment (a piece of paper with stuff written on it) . So I help her read it, and in the sweetest little squeakiest voice she says "Thou Shalt not Commit Adultery". Then without me saying anything she continues to say,
"Adultery is bad!!!!!!!!!"
Enough said, good girl Syd. We might explain that commandment more when the kids are older.
I know there is more, but I have already forgotten them, oh well maybe it will come to me. But I do have a riddle.
What happens when you take 2 grown men (meaning Justin and his twin brother Jason) a shovel, an axe, a hose and a spider.................oh yeah and me????
2 grown men, one with a hose the other with an axe, screaming and squealing like little girls while running away and me in hot pursuit with a tiny spider on a shovel.
Oh, Good memories :)

I knew Jason was a wimp when it came to spiders, I didn't Justin was too :)
Cute kids, funny stuff
So the question about if your parents said no a lot. I am sure I was the one that said yes all the time, and it was your Dad that said no. hmmmm or maybe the other way around. I love reading what the kids say, it is so cute.
Loved the stories!!! The satan sprinkling bad stuff on the girls is hilarious! Sounds like something one of my boys would say! Des
