Busy, Busy

I finally did it. I put my kids in some activities so they wouldn't be bored and drive people crazy. Sydney and Bailee are both in dance. Sydney is in a basic movement and motion class where they teach kids how to move with the music. Bailee is in a combination jazz, ballet, hip hop class and she is also in tap. She loves it and has picked up on it really fast. It is so funny, Bailee and Sydney couldn't be more opposite. Sydney stands in the middle of the room with her fingers in her mouth and just watches everybody. Bailee stands in the middle of the room and goes all out, her arms and her legs go everywhere, but she is very focused when she does it. She tries so hard to do everything perfect.

Joel will be starting Karate tomorrow, and I am so excited . I have been wanting to put him in something for a really long time, but I didn't want to do sports because he is kind of a sore loser :) I also wanted something that could build his confidence and help him overcome his shyness and teach respect. So lets hope this will work.

So between, 3 dance classes, karate 3 nights a week, volunteering in Joels and Bailees classes at school, the school carnival and church Volleyball for me.(I think I am forgetting something) it is going to be a busy week. But I love it.

Oh on a funny note. Joel starting riding the bus a couple of weeks ago, and since the bus stops right by the house I figured I would sit on the steps and make sure that Joel got on the bus (but mainly to make sure that the other kids were being nice to him:). So one day I got Joel ready for school and he tells me that he doesn't want me watching him get on the bus because it is "embarrassing" him.

Come on moms help me out, that's not embarrassing........is it????

You are one busy mama!
Leise doesn't want me walking with her to the bus stop anymore...not sure if it's because she's embarrassed or she just wants to be more independent. Maybe just watch out the window?

Wow, my kids get mad if I'm NOT there! Their little faces are pressed against the bus windows waiting to see me as it pulls up. I think all kids secretly like it.

Way to get your kids involved! i remember how much bailee loved dancing in eburg. Karate for Joel sounds great. He will love it I'm sure. Sounds like you're keeping yourself pretty busy. What a great momma! Thanks for the update! So good to hear that all is well. We really miss you guys!!
