Our many looks...

Have you ever stopped and thought about all the different looks you give your kids? Well yesterday I decided to make a mental note and this is what I came up with.

The look of ENCOURAGEMENT when you you want your child to achieve something, EXCITEMENT when you see how well they are doing and PRIDE when the they have accomplished it.

The RELAXED look, after you have just had some alone time and a HAPPY look when you see how excited your kids are to see you.

The CONFUSED look when you see your children running around your house naked, and you wonder where they learned that.

My personal favorite, the WARNING look when you don't want your child to do something,(We can't forget the THE WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT MOM look they give back to you), the ANGRY look when they do it anyways, the EMBARRASSED look as a result of their actions and finally the SCOLDING look that says "wait until I get you home" or "your going to wish you didn't do that."

The TIRED look at the end of the day and the PLEADING look when you want them to just go to bed.

And finally the LOVING and CONTENT look when you tuck in your sleeping babies each night.

i'm really good at the WARNING look.

don't forget the AH-HA look. that's the one when you realize all their bad habits they picked up from their dad. or at least that's what i like to think.

I couldn't have put it any better. It almost sounds like a poem. A Mommy's looks poem. :)
